2024 Award Process Opening August 25, 2023

Each year, the State Board of Community Colleges bestows a series of awards; the President of the Year, Excellence in Teaching, Staff of the Year, Distinguished Partners in Excellence, and the I.E Ready Award, the highest honor awarded to an individual by the Board.

2024 SBCC Awards Timeline

• The nomination period for 2024 awards will be from August 25, 2023, through October 13, 2023
• Committee reviews - October 16, 2023 - October 31, 2023
• Interviews scheduled - November 1, 2023 - December 1, 2023 (Some committees hold initial and final interviews)
• The State Board of Community Colleges will make announcements about the awards after the January 2024 State Board meeting.
• Award dinner scheduled April 2024
