Programs Committee

The purpose of the Programs and Student Success Committee is to establish policies for the addition and revision of educational programs within the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) that comply with N.C. General Statutes and support the System’s mission of providing high-quality, accessible educational opportunities that minimize barriers to post-secondary education, maximize student success, develop a globally and multi-culturally competent workforce and improve the lives and wellbeing of individuals. The Programs and Student Sucess Committee’s purview impacts Curriculum, instruction for Captive and Co-opted groups, Student Services, Career and College Promise, Work-Based Learning, Customized Training, High School Equivalency, Tiered Funding Levels, Developmental Education, Basic Skills Plus, Curriculum Instructional Contracts, and Instructional Service Agreements to offer students a variety of learning opportunities throughout the state.
